Holidays are coming!

Zoom lessons are unpredictable. However, it seems to me we are having fun.

2020

This year is very hard and very challenging. However, we have so kind people around us. The team of page in Facebook "Together" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/212732969979702) organized wonderful initiative. With this team I have learned how to use Zoom for lessons in one hand and also I have learned how to  organize lessons with limit of art supplies and materials.

More pictures you can find in gallery

So we made pictures with coffee:

We used chalk on recycling paper:

We also worked with soft pastel.

Than we played  with watercolor:

I still try to give Zoom lessons for children, they inspire me.

I am opened to different ideas to work with children and I hope give them my love, skills and knowledge.

Sincerely yours,
Alla Kireyeva

February, 2020

Winter...snow...cold, but days are longer and sunshine is brighter!

Spring is coming soon!

We are finishing our topics about winter time and learn about still life. We use gouache paint with brushes, forks, spoons and others. More results you can see in Gallery

Sincerely yours,
Alla

January, 2020

Winter in Calgary is very cold: -30C  outside.
Sometimes it seems to difficult to survive. But... cup of hot tea, some fairy tails, beautiful view from the window and imagination can help.

If you get a task to make frozen windows you will be able to create different shapes of windows, make  the view from outside or inside, to think about warm and cool colors.
"The Snow Queen" is my favorite fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen for the season.

Sincerely yours,
Alla
