Art lessons begin on September 9th, 2019.
We are going draw and pictures of our summer impressions, different moods, fantasies, gift paintings and postcards  and at the same time we are learning how to hold a pencil, to understand color theory, practice brush works. More pictures you can find here

Summer break

Summer
The school year is over, the long-awaited vacation has come.

At this time I try to hold an exhibition with my little students. These exhibitions provide the students with a sense of importance and excitement. Their diligent preparation and their carefully thought out names for their artwork and even their parent get a chance to help; the frames and their attendance. This year, unfortunately, the exhibition could not be held due to the weather, and other projects that had appeared:

 However, I really want to share the work of the children, because it is a way to show their small victories, inspiration, mood and much more, which makes our life more interesting.

Gouache

Gouache fantasies.

Sometimes, we do not recognize big work behind children's art work. They need to know how organize their working place, which brush to choose , how to mix colors and many others.

As a result, happy faces and proud words: "I made it!"

Watercolor fantasies.

We worked with watercolor in January and February. We needed to understand, to feel what a light, transparent watercolor, how the brush works on dry and wet paper. We tried to use our experiments in our works.

It is very inspiring when children not only take one or another skill, but immediately start playing with it, they add something of their own way. When parents share that after the lessons of the day their children draw at home non stop, I understand that the lesson was good. This is one of the main tasks of the teacher - to make students fall in love with the material, to engage in the creative process.

We prepare some presents for Christmas time. 

October. Thanksgiving.

I like this holiday. We discuss with students not only symbols of the holiday, but also about things around us that we should be thankful. Also, we need to remember that the words "thank you" can help you to share your love.

We have started our learning year with soft pastel.
